Is there anything sensible that can be said about Vietnamese motorway signage? What about "no bloody system at all"? For what it's worth, there is an AD sign that does not show when the exit comes. It does show how traffic in the opposite direction would make it onto the motorway. Both the AD sign and the ID sign are also heavily focussed on distances to the control cities of the two intersecting roads. Maybe understandable, considering that you'd have to read distances from the kilometer markers if they hadn't been posted on these signs.
