South Korea

South Korea (or the Republic of Korea, as it is known locally) has redesigned its motorway signage around 2010. There are still many signs in the old style, but there pictures reflect the current one. The colour for all motorway signs in Korea is green. Exits are numbered sequentially, in the wit-on-black squares at the top of the sign. All advanced directional signs and the ID sign show the same information, namely the numbers and focals of the interchanging route and the exit number. Pull-through information is only given at important intersections. After the exit, the route number will be given on a separate trailblazer. The subsequent distance sign does not feature the route number.
