The most striking thing about Israeli signage is that it is in three languages and alphabets: Hebrew, Arab and English. Blue is the colour for motorway signs and green is the colour for non-motorways. This leads to a first approach sign in blue (the first approach sign apparently is a motorway-related sign). The remainder of the exit signage then takes the green background, provided of course that the intersecting road is a non-motorway. After the exit, you'll mostly find two distance signs: one for the next couple of exits and one with two or three focals of the road ahead.
